Case Study

Frey Petrakis

Background

As is the case with many law firms, Frey Petrakis had limited experience with, or understanding of, marketing when they sought counsel from CMO. A medium-sized law firm based in Philadelphia, Frey Petrakis had built a respectable client base cultivated on personal connections alone. The partners realized, however, that future and long-term growth would require more than tapping into their own personal networks. In addition, they were aware that their outdated Web site was not an accurate reflection of the law firm they had become.

The CMO Solution

Upon conducting a thorough Discovery & Assessment, CMO identified the key attributes that set Frey Petrakis apart from other area law firms. In short, the firms’ relatively smaller size gave them the agility to deliver results without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Translating this into a Brand Platform facilitated the development of marketing materials for the firm. Specifically, CMO oversaw the design of a logo and corporate identity package used to convey the firm’s key messages. In addition, CMO launched a regional advertising campaign focused on Frey Petrakis’ specific niche expertise. The final step in implementing their new brand was the development of a Web site, with tools to enable the firm to continually update the site with news of attorney and firm accomplishments.

Client Feedback

“CMO enabled us to understand the need for, and importance of, marketing. I have high regard for the level of expertise they provided. The work they did for us accurately reflected who we had become and, more importantly, uniquely positioned us as the smart alternative to large bureaucratic firms, understaffed smaller firms and highlighted our in-depth use of technology to generate positive outcomes for our clients. And, they did it all while balancing the opinions and desires of seven partners of the firm. I highly recommend them.”
